EGA Market Stalls
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
The outdoor EGA conference is designed as a tranquil space, with the market area providing a key meeting and transit zone within our chilled festival. The market is located centrally between the main conference dome and the workshop and art spaces. This gives all market stallholders a very good opportunity to present their goods to patrons. The relaxed atmosphere of the event offers ample down time for patrons to browse the stalls both day and night. It will be well worth participating in the EGA markets.
Market Stalls can trade from late Friday afternoon, December 2nd, until the conference winds up on Monday afternoon, December 5th. food stalls are welcome to trade till Tuesdays morning. All stalls are to be packed down and off site by the end of the 6th of December.
Deadline for market applications is 10 November. We'll let you know the outcome of your application by approximately 20 November.
Market Stall Types
There are 2 different categories of stalls available in the EGA market space. Please select the relevant form.
1. General Market stall
2. Food Stall
Each stall charge includes entry for 2 people to run the stall. Additional help requires additional payment per head. You may select this option when completing the form.
There will be approximately 600 people at the festival over the weekend, with market stall sites strictly limited in number.
Market Stall Costs
Stall pricing is based on size, as outlined below.
Stall only - 3x3M - $250
Stall (including vehicle) - 6x3M - $350
Stall only - 6x4M - $400
Sponsor Stall
Food/Drinks Stall Costs
Stall only - 3x3M - $300
Stall only - 6x3M - $450
Stall (including vehicle) - 6x4M - $500
Stall only - 6x4M - $500
Sponsor Stall
Payment for the stall space and additional help is to be made at the front gate at the time of arrival before entering the site. Select only “Sponsor Stall” under store size if you are one of EGA’s official Sponsors.
Power Details
General Stall Holders
We have allocated each general EGA stall space with 240-volt power with approximately 250 Watts each that will be available 24/7. This is enough power for approximately 2 desk lamps, 4 fluro tubes, two sets of fairy lights and 1 CD player or laptop. However you must bring along one 20m power lead and all your own power boards and lighting for your stall. Faulty equipment and appliances that exceed these specifications will not be tolerated, and will be removed by EGA. All appliances and leads must have a current electrical safety tag.
Food Stall Holders
We have allocated each Food stall with approximately 240 volt power @ 10-15 amps that will be available 24/7. However you must bring along one 20m power lead and all your own power boards and lighting for your stall. Faulty equipment and appliances that exceed these specifications will not be tolerated, and will be removed by EGA. All appliances and leads must have a current electrical safety tag.
Raffle
EGA is primarily a volunteer run organization and as part of our annual fundraising efforts we run a raffle to be drawn at the conference. We encourage all stallholders to donate to the raffle where possible. This will help promote your stall or products to the community at large. Please email Billy at egaraffle [at] hotmail [dot] com to inform us of your contribution, and the sooner the better, so we can help advertise your business in the lead up to the conference. Your support for the raffle is very much appreciated.
EGA Banquet
EGA will run a complimentary light banquet on Monday 5 December, in the early afternoon, just before the close of the conference. This is a tradition of our outdoor conference, so please keep this in mind when organizing your food stall.
Sound Restrictions
EGA has very strict sound restrictions relating to amplified sound on site. No excessive sound equipment, especially late into the night, is permitted or tolerated in the market area. So please act responsibly for the future of the conference at this particular venue.
Deadline for market applications is 15 October. We'll let you know the outcome of your application by 31 October.
