Synopsis:
Gnomon (singular) - The part of a sundial which casts a shadow Gnomons is an interactive digital light sculpture representing an augmented sundial. Instead of displaying time in a linear fashion Gnomons represents a complex set of patterns and shadows created from the viewers kinetic motion. These patterns and shapes are created through complex generative algorithms and digitally painted onto the sculpture and surrounding ground using several projectors.

Bio:
Jayson Haebich is a multimedia artist from Melbourne who uses his skills as a computer programmer to create engaging interactive artwork that crosses the boundaries of art and technology. Jayson's creations aim to blur the distinction between artist, viewer and art piece by utilising cutting edge technology, mind bending illusions, gadgets and a wild imagination to create unique immersive interactive experiences.
