Erth Egg
Synopsis:
The Erth Egg is the beginning of Erthaya. It represents her pulsating heart; a symbol of growth and hope. She has been sleeping for billions of years and has finally awoken to the rhythm of life. This is the first Erth Egg and many more will blossom. It is believed the eggs will hatch but what lies within these eggs is unknown as the story of Erthaya has only just begun.
Bio:
I am an artist currently living in Melbourne. I spend my time drifting between this world and another that I like to call Erthaya. A world which I express through drawing, for myself and others to experience. Part of my work is an exploration of the beauty and vitality of Mother Earth and her pure nature that I feel radiates from deep within her core. My creations are a very magical process which I feel I have little control over. In the beginning I never know what the finished product will be. Previously I have focused on fine line black and white pen drawings however recently I have been experimenting with colour and sculpture and plan to create larger scale paintings.I have exhibited work in a number of group shows in Sydney and Melbourne over the past few years and have also been in publications including last years EGA book - www.ninamaskiell.com
