This is the new Economics and Commerce Building located at 198 Berkeley Street, set at the south-western gateway to University Square. The building actually has spots on it and looks like picture on the left.

Enter Melbourne University from Grattan Street, in the Melbourne suburb of Parkville. (Melway Ref. 2B & 43). See Map below for location of Melbourne University in relation to the CBD.

CARS
Parking on campus is $5 via coin operated machine. Entry to this parking is by Gate 4 (Monash Road, off Swanston Street) or Gate 10 (Grattan Street). See map on directions page

Limited street parking is available surrounding the Uni but will be mostly 2-4 hour parking only. Paid parking is also available at the Royal Womens Hospital carpark, corner of Grattan and Cardigan Streets - however will probably cost more than $5 for the day.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Catch a train to Flinders Street or Melbourne Central Station and catch the no 3,5,6,16,64,67 or 72 trams up Swanston Street towards Melbourne Uni (tram will be travelling to your left). You will need to purchase a daily ticket either from the train station where you got on or 2 x two hour tickets from the tram. Note - Tram ticket machines will only accept change! Tram and train timetables and ticket prices can be accessed at the Metlink Melbourne website.
