Getting from Melbourne Airport to the CBD
For those of you coming by plane from interstate you may need to catch a shuttle bus to Melbourne CBD to get to Southern Cross station if you are catching the bus to Mansfield. Details for the airport shuttle bus are on the Metlink Melbourne website.
Cheap travel from Melbourne to Mansfield and back
V/Line runs 2 buses every day from Melbourne to Mansfield (and Mansfield to Melbourne)
The trip takes 3 hours and is not very costly.

Bus 1: Departs Southern Cross Station 8:30 am
Arrives in Mansfield 11:35am
Bus 2: Departs Departs Southern Cross Station 6:pm
Arrives in Mansfield 9:00 pm
From Mansfield to Melbourne 3rd and 4th of December
Bus 1: Departs Mansfield at 8am
Arrives Departs Southern Cross Station at 11:30am
Bus 2: Departs Mansfield at 1pm
Sounds pretty acceptable in my book!
You may wish to book your travel soonish to make sure you get a seat on the bus.

EGA Shuttle Bus pick up and drop off from Mansfield
We will be doing an EGA pick up to and from Mansfield in a small shuttle bus for people that have got a Vline bus to Mansfield. There are only 8 seats per trip. They will be to and from The botanical gardens picnic area in Mansfield and the EGA site.

You must email us with the topic tittle “EGA Pick up” in advance to get a place. We need your name, ticket number and mobile number if possible. We will send you a conformation email. Bookings must all be logged before the 24 of November.
Pick up - 2pm Friday the 30th of November from The botanical gardens picnic area to EGA
Drop off - 12 noon Monday 3rd AND Tuesday 4th December from EGA to The botanical gardens picnic area or bus stop
